Susanne Cipolla Olmos was admitted to New York Bar in 1995 after receiving her law degree from Boston University School of Law. She began practicing Immigration Law in June of 2002 in Los Angeles, representing clients before the Immigration Courts, Board of Immigration Appeals, and the Department of Homeland Security in Los Angeles, California.   

Susanne was born in Queens, New York to a first-generation Italian American family. Her grandparents’ stories about their immigration journey gave her a personal understanding of cultural transition and the hardships of starting over in a new country. Inspired by her father’s work as an attorney, she pursued a career in immigration law to help others on that same journey.

Before relocating to Los Angeles, Susanne met her husband, Mico, in New York. He shared her experience as a supporter of the immigrant population. Her father-in-law, Edward James Olmos, is an actor and activist who also serves as a voice to the immigrant population.

In September of 2013, Susanne opened her own practice with Keli who shared her values and client-centered philosophy. She is currently an immigration lawyer and law firm partner serving Los Angeles, Long Beach, Lennox, Irvine, Santa Ana, Huntington Beach, Thousand Oaks and Torrance and other areas of California and is available by Zoom or in-person. Susanne thrives on complex cases and finds legal openings for people who thought relief was impossible. She represents clients in removal proceedings in Immigration Courts nationwide in applications for asylum, cancellation of removal, waivers and motions to reopen. She also handles employment-based immigration and family-based immigration cases before USCIS and U.S. Consulates overseas in applications for adjustment of status, consular processing, waivers and naturalization. 

When she’s not working, Susanne enjoys spending time with her husband, three daughters, and two dogs. She also enjoys yoga and cooking for her family and friends.
